Interior Design

This course teaches the basics of interior design, covering the terminology, materials, techniques, and applications used in business and industry. The course is project oriented with the major emphasis on the elements and principles of design. Basic floor planning, scale drawings, room layout, area calculation, architectural styles, and kitchen design are all covered in this class. 

Interior Design involves the diverse business of creating peoples’ immediate physical environment. Interior designers plan and furnish the interiors of homes, public buildings and commercial establishments. They analyze clients’ needs and requirements, lay out space, prepare working drawings and specify interior finishes and furniture.
